GEORGIA FRANK

After completing my Bachelor of Interior Design at Billy Blue College of Design in Sydney, Australia, in 2016, I have come to realise that there is one truth for me: design will never be stagnate - it is forever changing; a growing, breathing thing. And I love that. I love being a part of something that has so much life in itself. It is a reflection of ourselves and our lives. It narrates our stories, our soul. It fulfils me, and I hope with design I can fulfil others. I am fascinated with and totally immersed in design, and the art of making a home. 

 

Prior to completing this degree, I also spent many years studying Visual Fine Arts, being immersed in the folds of creativity and design.

Whilst completing my studies, I started interning with the very wonderful Sarah Nolen and Birdblack Design in Wollongong, Australia, and I continued working for them zealously for another two amazing years. A year after completing my studies I decided to take a great leap of fate and left my amazing position with Birdblack and the saftey of my little home town to explore the rest of the big bad world.

Immediately after arriving in the UK, I was employed as an interior designer by Areen Design, working on incredibly large, high-end international residences in the Middle East for some quite prestigious clients. Through my employment there I was able to adapt my skills as a designer, increase my knowledge on various unique yet large-scale projects, as well as progress my teamwork and communication skills on an international level.

After spending some time with them, I was then employed by the fantastic Roselind Wilson Design, an award-winning studio nestled in the heart of North West London. Here I was able to really nurture my design process and specialise in high-end residential projects delivering bespoke interiors that really encompassed the essence of our clients.

​

With the end of my working visa abroad I've returned home, eager to immerse myself back into Australian design, bringing with me new unique and inspired ideas gathered throughout my international experience and travels.
